Protect Yourself Against Unlicensed Activity

Posted in Latest News on September 13, 2013.

The “Health Provider” who claims to charge much less than the rest… Do you really know the truth? Protect yourself.

An individual who poses as a licensed dentist, physician, nurse, pharmacist, or any other type of health care practitioner can jeopardize your health. These individuals often perform dangerous and illegal procedures on their victims, with unsterilized or improper equipment – and without the proper medical training.

They use hotel rooms, their own homes or garages and even storage facilities – and they are hiding from the law and endangering the people who visit them in the process.

Unlicensed health care may seem like a bargain, but the results can be horrifying infections, scarring, disfigurement, paralysis, brain damage, and even death.

To make sure your health care practitioner is licensed, visit www.flhealthsource.gov and click on “Verify A License.” Don’t put yourself or your loved ones at risk – use a licensed practitioner for your health care needs.
